Our Background and history
Rolaar Limited was established in 1990 by Mick Young. Mick was a former Rotax/Lucas employee who worked as a service engineer, going on to the oil rigs and repairing all types of valves. Mick founded Rolaar after early retirement from Lucas and started overhauling the Avon series purge valves. Rolaar evolved to become one of only six repair stations at that time and soon began sourcing and suppling components.
The business is now run by Grant and Gina Young and dedicated solely to the maintenance of the RB211, Avon 1533, 1534, 1535 and Olympus Gas Turbine Engines
